Festival No.6 reveals 2017 Line Up

Amongst the somewhat infinite list of summer music festivals this year, Festival No.6 provides a refreshing twist of culture amongst a beautiful Welsh setting.

Held in Portmeirion since 2012 the festival incorporates many musical genres amongst a realm of artistic escape. Musically, it promotes diversity which is evident in the festival’s initial line up. The 2017 edition of the Welsh Festival is headlined by Bloc Party, Flaming Lips and Mogwai alongside band such as The Cribs, Rag ’N’ Bone Man and Jagwar Ma.

Closing the summer’s festival schedule on the weekend of 7th-10th September the line up also includes Public Service Broadcasting, TOY, Superfood and eudaemonia favourites Cabbage.

Special musical highlights of the weekend feature a very special 50th anniversary celebration of Sgt. Peppers from Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and The Bootleg Beatles. Pulp legend Jarvis Cocker is also set to make an appearance, it is almost as if the festival epitomises the creative genius of the intrinsic frontman.

Portmeirion is somewhat of a beautiful Welsh escape, situated along beautiful coastline one would be surprised that the remote town even exists within the UK. Afresh with bloom and colour it becomes a hive of arts and creativity when Festival No.6 comes to town.
