9/12 – Broken Witt Rebels – The Bodega

Broken Witt Rebels have a sound fuelled by a mix of melody and adrenaline, both intriguing and brimming with confidence. Like a hybrid between Royal Blood and Kings Of Leon their sound is well suited to both large and small venues alike.

Performing alongside Bad Touch, the ‘Jack Rocks 7’ have recently embarked upon a massive summer of touring including highlights at Reading, TRNSMT and the Isle Of White Festival.

10/12 – Liam Gallagher – Motorpoint Arena

THE biggest tour of the former Oasis frontman’s career since the iconic band came to an end in 2009. Liam Gallagher’s ‘As You Were’ was something quite special, his best set of works in many a decade.

The tour heads to Nottingham’s Motorpoint Arena having already been heralded as a return to form. Expect a mixture of old classics and new anthems. The highlights from his new album has to be tracks such as “Wall Of Glass” and “For What It’s Worth.” Other notable inclusions include “Rockin Chair,” “Some Might Say” and ‘Live Forever.”

17/12 – Bootleg Beatles – Royal Concert Hall

Okay, on paper they merely are just a cover band. Despite this, the Bootleg Beatles are far more than just that! Their resemblance to the fab four is uncanny and their musical ability is second to none.

Out in celebration of classic album “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band,” the Bootleg Beatles recreate The Beatles’ live presence in a way in which only the real iconic band could. No wonder they are favourites of Oasis and have performed on some of the biggest stages of all including Glastonbury’s Pyramid stage just this June!

19/12 – Honeyblood – Rescue Rooms

The effortlessly cool Scottish duo are no strangers to Nottingham having performed at Rock City as part of Dot to Dot 2017. Now, their original Bodega headline set has been upgraded to the famous main hall at Rescue Rooms.

The 2012 formed band duo have already released two highly acclaimed albums in ‘Babes Never Die’ and ‘Honeyblood.’ Latest single “Swell Love” proves that the best is still yet to come. They are in many ways the most perfect live band, we can’t recommend this gig enough!

21 & 22/12 – The Big Bodega Christmas Bash – The Bodega

Penned as a celebration of Nottingham’s ever growing, ever successful music scene, no one has championed local talent more than The Bodega has. Taking place over two days, the night will feature the best new local bands of the year including:

Thursday 21st December

Silver Wilson

Josh Wheatley

Vega Bay

George Gretton Music

Afterparty: Paradisco Xmas Special

Friday 22nd December

Do Nothing

Soft Girls & Boys Club

Brown Lion Zoo

Alice Robbins

Afterparty: The Pop Confessional Christmas Special

We’ll have a little feature coming soon looking at each of the bands on show on what will be an epic night of music.

31/12 – Crosa Rosa – Chameleon Arts Cafe

Crosa Rosa’s intimate Nottingham gigs are something of legendary status, with New Years Eve also thrown into the mix it is clear that this is the ONLY place to be to see in 2018. The year has been significant for the local band and has even see them travel to Asia and beyond, they clearly are in the form of their lives.

With new music in the pipeline, the set is to be a mixture of classics both old and new. Tracks such as “Little Leper” and “Like A Lady” are thunderous in the live setting, especially one like the newly renovated Chameleon Arts Cafe.
