Born and bred in Jersey, Tadhg Daly is on a mission to redefine the islands music history. Latest single ‘Hit The Ground’ does just that.
The track opens with mellow harmonies and earthly vocals. For fans of James Bay and Lewis Capaldi, Daly has a voice which screams credibility. Both well produced and listenable, this track is suited best to car stereos and festival fields across the country.
The track explodes into powerful chorus and explosive vocals as it grows older. Tadhg Daly is a remarkable songwriter, manipulating lyrics into catchy segments. The song is both warm and heartening, instantly bringing sweet, choral images of summer.
With over 75k streams on previous single ‘Fires,’ it is clear that Daly means business as 2019 comes to fruition. His sound is both heart-warming yet powerful. Having featured at festivals such as the Isle of Wight and Boomtown alongside sold out shows across the country, it is clear that Daly’s sound is suited to a wide audience. The Jersey dream is ever growing.
Now London based, Daly is described as a future icon by outlets such as It’s All Indie. With regular support from the BBC Introducing outlets, it is clear he is set to go far. This March sees him head to London’s famous Notting Hill Arts Club in celebration of ‘Hit The Grounds’ release. Taking place on March 14th, it will be as much a signal of intent as a celebration of his remarkable sound.
‘Hit The Ground’ is release on March 15th 2019. It is remarkable and wholesome, we cannot get enough!
