Feet are prime musical real estate right now, the adaptable Coventry outfit have gone from strength to strength in 2019. Their brand of groove ridden licks is exceptional, a nostalgic hit at all things 90s but with modern swagger.

23/10: black midi

black midi were unlucky to miss out on Mercury success in September, their debut album Schlagenheim was undoubtedly the best of this years alternative selection. With an unconventional live sound and mesmeric visuals to match, Fabric makes an intriguing venue for this exceptional London band.

Where? Fabric (Farringdon)

24/10: Self Esteem

If black midi were unlucky to miss out on Mercury success, then it is sacrilegious that Self Esteem’s Compliments Please even missed out on a nomination. Musically it is enigmatic and empowering, an album which will remain forever on repeat. Their London return is hotly anticipated.

Where? Electric Brixton (Brixton)

24/10: Bang Bang Romeo

Bang Bang Romeo’s musical rise has been electric, their Omeara show marks their biggest London appearance to date. Having crafted their sound and live presence in stadiums across Europe this summer supporting Pink, it is clear that the band are set to break into the upper echelons of the musical sphere.

Where? Omeara (London Bridge)

24/10: This Feeling TV Episode 11

This Feeling TV brings household names and your next favourite band to the virtual TV screen. The 11th edition sees Cruel Hearts Club, LONA and The K’s head to North London’s favourite guitar joint, Nambucca. Expect thrills, lots of Red Stripe and big riffs galore!
