28/10: Moon Duo
Moon Duo’s brand of psychedelic rock is evolving, their latest release Stars Are The Light is a musical reconfiguration. It explores concepts of dance and disco, no doubt resulting from its earth-central production period. Such elements of disco will no doubt break into their live sound too, Dalston’s EartH being the perfect setting for their immersive live show.
Where? EartH (Dalston)
31/10: Vistas
Vistas are fast becoming indie mainstays, their euphoric sound and nostalgic lyricism make them one of the hottest tipped new bands in the country. Celebrating EP success, they embark on their largest tour to date with a night in Camden, the spiritual home of guitar music.
Where? Dingwalls (Camden)
31/10: Boogaloo Radio presents Italia 90
Boogaloo Radio is London’s pioneering independent radio station. Its eclectic array of guests and new music tips make it (in our opinion) the country’s best. Italia 90 head north to Highgate for the first edition of ‘Boogaloo Radio Presents.’
Where? The Boogaloo (Highgate)
01/11: Dirty Orange
The exciting SW London trio return, this time to Notting Hill Arts Club. With a hankering for the live performance, expect immersive rock and roll and an exceptional devotional to intrinsic guitar riffs.
Where? Notting Hill Arts Club (Notting Hill)
01/11: The Deptford Mix-Up
The Amersham Arms is a hotbed of new musical talent, it is the physical bookend to the Brixton-Peckham-New Cross musical trail. Kick Out The Jams, End Of The Trail and The Zine and friends coincide once more for the third Deptford Mix-Up. This week sees Fake Turins, Flood Hounds, The Kaizens and Click favourites The Novus head to SE London.
