SPINN’s brand of jangly guitar-pop is mesmeric. ‘Stuck On A Feeling’ marks the beginning of an exciting second album campaign.
The track, described as “a prayer for sleep,” discusses anxiety and how it haemorrhages large of an evening. Coming in a little more powerfully to the body of songs forming their debut album, the latest release is more driven in a sense.
Whimsical guitar riff combines with limitless lyricism in sublime fashion. SPINN are known for their effortless musical eloquence, ‘Stuck On A Feeling’ is no outlier. Its chorus is best suited to the live setting, an anthemic sing along.
2019s self titled debut garnered huge support amongst national press and fans alike. It’s sound was compared to the likes of Echo & The Bunnymen and The La’s with a Johnny Marr-esque rhetoric on guitar. The Liverpool based band boast exceptional support across the country, something no doubt set to continue over the coming years.
‘Stuck On A Feeling’ marks an exceptional return for SPINN. It makes us gag for the return of live music.
